Meet the Team
Christy Wilson is a highly trusted and respected campaign manager with over 25 years of ballot initiative, issue advocacy, independent expenditure, and voter research experience. Christy has managed and implemented campaigns from California to New York on a broad range of issues including frivolous lawsuits/tort reform, insurance reform, bailouts, energy, gaming, campaign finance, taxation, and education.
From the conceptual phase through drafting, qualification, and campaign phases of these efforts, Christy excels at aligning the interests of her clients with public opinion to achieve desired policy goals.
Christy utilizes her depth of experience, mind for political strategy, and mathematical skills to creatively solve issues clients are currently facing and to foresee and prepare for those coming.
As a strategist and campaign manager, she oversees all aspects of public opinion research, strategic planning, media relations, marketing, grassroots and grass tops coalition building, speakers training, paid media, and legislative advocacy. Her work has garnered Pollie, Tellie, and Summit Creative Awards. She is often sought out as a speaker and media commentator.
She spends her free time coaching volleyball, serving on local boards, biking the amazing American River Bike trail and enjoying the outdoors in Lake Tahoe.

Emily Miller specializes in policy, political campaigns, and public affairs, distinguished by a meticulous focus on research and attention to detail.
She began her career as a Senate Fellow for the California State Legislature. Prior to joining Wilson Public Affairs, she managed robust coalitions, navigated complex client policy issues (including Artificial Intelligence and PFAS regulation), and assisted in the execution of successful ballot initiative campaigns.
This work was driven by in-depth research and the leverage of sophisticated data analysis, including the tracking of political trends and voter behavior, to inform effective strategy and messaging.
At Wilson Public Affairs, Emily applies this experience to drive client success. Her expertise in the ballot initiatives and legislative process across California and the nation, combined with her proven ability to conduct intense, highly detailed research and monitor the broader political landscape, provides a critical perspective for successful client strategy and communication.
Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Sonoma State University and a Master's Certification in Applied Government and Policymaking from Sacramento State University. She is proudly from the Central Valley and currently lives in Sacramento, California.
In her free time, she enjoys baking, cheering on the San Francisco 49ers, and spending time with family at Lake Berryessa.
